This is a lovely example of a Bechstein model V (five) upright piano.  Although straightstrung, the piano has a good tone, responsive action and a tidy casework.  Having just arrived into stock, the piano is still in our workshop, but it can be seen alongside the many other comparable models.

This is one of our oldest Bluthner pianos, dating back to 1880.  It is a Bluthner patent action, 85 note upright.  The piano has resided in a private home for the past 25 years and has been carefully tuned and maintained in this time.  The burr walnut cabinet is beautiful and would compliment any antique collection.  This Bluthner is in good condition, plays well and tunes to concert pitch A440.

Bechstein Model 9 Artcase upright piano in mahogany

This Bechstein model 9 Artcase upright piano was built in 1894.  Originally, it would have had a more elaborate casework, but this particular piano has been modernised and the pillar candle holders have been removed.  As an instrument, this piano is excellent value for money having also been reconditioned in the past.  The piano maintains its original ivory key coverings.
