Modern pianos tend to be shorter in height but not always shorter in length.  This is mainly because most pianos have either 85 or 88 notes, so the length of the piano depends on how big the cabinet is.

Length tends to vary between 120cm -130cm
Depth varies between 45cm – 60 cm
Height can be from 110cm upwards
